Essential Romania Weekend Tour – 3 days- Bucharest – Peles – Bran – Brasov
Romania is a big, beautiful and always interesting country that deserves weeks of exploration to feel its spirit and understand what’s all about. But not everybody has this time available, and we totally understand. For the ones in a hurry, having just a long weekend available after a business trip or during bank holidays, for the ones wanting an extension for a Danube cruise, or for the ones that want to taste the essence of Romania to see if it worths investing extended time to travel, we invite you to come with us in this tour.
We spent a lot of time making sure you will have a great time. After all, this is the famous route Bucharest, Peles, Bran, Brasov – there are lots of day tours for this and you might wonder what’s different with this tour to deserve the effort. The first thing that’s different is that we do not want to do this in one day. We think it is wrong and the experience is lousy. Therefore we extended this to three days, allowing you to actually enjoy it rather just checking a list in a hurry. This means you’ll have time to explore Brasov – which is an amazing medieval city, and get a taste of the Saxon country and its fortified churches and, of course, you will be able to enjoy the superb Peles and Bran castle without being pushed around by thousands of tourists. You’ll enjoy the best restaurants Brasov, have time for shopping and leasure, have a wine tasting and superb food at an amazing winery and many more. Talk to us and book a tour and just relax and enjoy.

Explore the greatest medieval Saxon city in Romania
Brasov with his dynamic life, great restaurants and amazing scenery; Sibiu, with its beautiful houses and their many eyes, the palaces and the large squares; Sighisoara, the quintesential medieval fortress, without peer in the world, all will charm you endlessly.
The most beautiful Saxon fortified churches
You’ll visit the some of the most beautiful UNESCO world heritage fortified churches: Harman, Prejmer – each with their own stories and their own characteristics. These two are the essence of what the fortified churches and their Saxon history are about. But the Saxon country is about much more. Read our blog, talk to us and you’ll find out.
The greatest castles in the whole Eastern Europe
Peles and Bran royal castles are amazing. Peles, King Carol’s castle, with its intricate wooden panels and richly decorated rooms offers a mindblowing visual experience. Bran, Dracula’s castle, as they they say, but actually queen’s Mary favourite place – is superbly located in the most beautiful area in Romania and it offers a totally different experience. It is sparsely decorated, almost minimalistic – 50 years before it was cool, and speaks to the mind rather than senses. Experience both to understand the personalities of most famous king and queen of Romania.
Enjoy the greatest view in Romania in, we think, the most beautiful rural area in the world.
Bran area is world wide famous for its castle. But the hidden gem is the natural beauty of the rural area. Many years from this trip, when asked by friends or grandchildren about the most beautiful area you travelled to, there are high chances Bran will be your highlight. The amazingly beautiful rolling hills, caught between high mountains in a late autumn sunny day, seeing sheeps peacefully munching their grass among hay stacks, and hearing nothing but the wind and cow bells, while sipping your coffee after a fantastic lunch, this is paradise.
